In 1988, Liz Weir had a very special experience. She was invited to Dublin to meet Roald Dahl, who was one of her favorite authors. Liz and her daughter took a train to Dublin. When they arrived at their hotel, Roald Dahl himself greeted them! He shook their hands and even playfully called her daughter a "spoilt little devil." After he left, Liz started telling one of Dahl's stories to pass the time. As she continued, she noticed that Roald Dahl had returned and was listening to her tell his own story.
